Instrumental surf music was unique during the 60’s, developing within the culture of one sport and attempting to convey the feeling and rhythm of surfing through music. One group to emerge to international status was The Surfaris who performed “WIPE OUT” - one of the most popular songs recorded in a generation. The song has been widely used in commercials and movie soundtracks such as “Meet The Parents” starring Robert De Niro. “Wipe Out”, “Surfer Joe” and others captured the sound of the early 1960's.
The mission of The Surfaris with founding member Bob Berryhill is to travel world wide, performing the hits Wipe Out, Surfer Joe and Point Panic along with other hits of the 60's. They have a unique way of connecting with people and families of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. Bob is dedicated to continuing his impressive career by performing Wipe Out in a way only the real McCoy can!
There will also be a Taekwondo demonstration by Iron Taekwondo of Temecula
