Sleeping Beauty the ballet was first performed in 1890 with musiv composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky (his opus 66). The original scenario was conceived by Ivan Vsevolozhsky and is based on Charles Perrault’s La Belle au bois dormant. The Ballet Studio is proud to bring this ballet to our local audiences. Featuring beautiful costumes, sets, and wonderful dancing, this Summer 2015 production is a great treat for the family.
