When it comes to her comedy, Monique Marvez takes it very seriously as this is where
she best delivers her messages of wise, powerful, positivity! This impressive Latina has
been on numerous TV shows, had a special on HBOMAX and four on Showtime including her own hour: Not Skinny; Not Blonde. Just last year, her DryBar Special was number one garnering over 70 millions views on their site alone and various clips another quarter billion more across multiple platforms.
With an hourglass figure and stopwatch wit, Monique emerged from Miami’s provocative South Beach arts scene in the 90’s and was immediately heralded as a bright star and invited to the Montreal Comedy Festival. In the three decades since, she’s had a development deal with Dick Wolf Productions at NBC Universal, a radio format flipped just for her, went on to win The Million Dollar Morning Show contest, had her own talk show on LA’s venerable KFI, signed a book deal with Hayhouse and collaborated with John Gray on the off-Broadway show Mars/Venus LIVE! to name just a very few highlights.
Bridging generations, she’s enjoying being the new found “It” girl among very young viewers as her material resonates strongly and they continue to spread and share her work in staggering numbers…No overnight success, Marvez is proud to have a strong foundation and long history of being a fearless truth teller, cultural translator, relationship whisperer and delivering equal parts HA-HA and Aha! in every performance.
