His notable work includes collaboration on the Oscar-nominated soundtrack for the animated film Rio and a Latin Grammy for Sergio Mendes' Bom Tempo album. Among other renowned artists Mika Mutti has collaborated with are Carlos Santana, John Legend, and Jamie Foxx, showcasing his versatility in incorporating Brazilian percussion into diverse musical genres.
Leo Nobre, born in Rio de Janeiro, immersed himself in various music genres from an early age. After studying music theory, acoustic guitar, and bass, he pursued further education at the University of Miami School of Music, focusing on jazz and studying under Dr. Lucas Drew. Notable achievements include a Latin Jazz Grammy certificate for his work on Sergio Mendes' Timeless and an Akademia Music Award for the production of In Brazil. Nobre's versatility is evident through collaborations with artists like Shakira, Martin Nievera, and Gary Feliciano.
Marcele, raised in a musical family with her father, Claudio Fontana, a renowned songwriter, has made her mark in the music scene. After receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, she showcased her talent at various jazz clubs in Boston. Relocating to Los Angeles, Marcele collaborated with prestigious musicians, performing at renowned venues and releasing singles produced by Leo Costa in 2023.
