Known to many as Male Vocalist of the Year at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, Nathan Aweau brings to us his smooth and effortless voice, carrying on a long tradition of his very talented family. Although his voice is his best-known instrument, Nathan is also known for his many instrumental accomplishments, including but not limited to piano, guitar, ukulele, saxophone, and especially known for his passion for his 7-string, electric, bass guitar.

In his early years as an adult, Nathan was part of the award-winning group The Ali’i’s. For 16 years, he played with the well-known Hawaiian entertainer Don Ho. He also was part of the famous duo Hapa for several years before going solo! The duo won multiple awards for their amazing album Maui. Since the release of his solo album Kane’ohe, Nathan has been touring as a solo artist world-wide. He shares traditional island songs, contemporary, and jazz.
