SPEAKEASY AT THE MERC
Each second Saturday of the month, Speakeasy at The Merc presents live “Prohibition Era” Jazz of the 20s-40s. Performances feature the house band, The Second Hand Jazz Band with vocalist Rosalie Porter, in rotation with prominent southern California Traditional Jazz artists.
March: “Making Wolpe at The Merc”, an evening of arranger Dave Wolpe’s music.
June: “Best Of Speakeasy” featuring vocalist Rosalie Porter and The Second Hand Jazz Band. The band chooses our favorite songs from the previous season.
